Meet Shannon

Owner and Consultant for Aging Consulting Services, LLC

After graduating from Mount Carmel Academy in New Orleans, LA, Shannon completed a degree in Health Administration with a concentration in Senior Housing from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

Over the last ten years, Shannon has worked and managed in a variety of senior care settings: Southwestern Indiana’s Area Agency on Aging, assisted living and memory care communities throughout the country, a home care/sitter agency, and full-time Christian mission work in which she visited the homebound, aging and sick.

Through Aging Consulting Services, LLC, Shannon is responding to a need that she has seen throughout the last decade of work in the senior care industry: Families are in great need of help and support to care for their aging relatives. Family caregivers are overwhelmed and tired, but earnestly love their aging loved one. Families want to have peace in knowing that they are caring for their older relative the best that they can.

In her studies and work, Shannon has been fueled by the scripture, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress” (James 1:27). Shannon recognizes that it is a great gift to be close to families who are navigating care for their aging family members. She is thankful for the opportunity to equip families with the tools and services to have confidence and peace in their decisions regarding senior care and aging.

Shannon currently resides in Metairie with her husband and baby girl.
